393 An analysis of dermatology resident population’s medical trainings and degrees

Thousands of medical students apply for residency each year in the United States (US). The majority have graduated school and received a degree from US based allopathic program (US MD), osteopathic DO), or are international graduates (IMG MD). underrepresentation DO IMG MD residents, compared with within field dermatology has been well documented literature. Numerous calls to action both highlighted this disparity advocated an increase representation residents dermatology. To assess recent trends, we provide ten analysis training background data total Graduate Medical Education (GME) residents. For academic years 2011-2021, number GME were recorded. residents' was determined through Accreditation Council (ACGME) Data Resource Book.
